BACK ON TRACKAs some of you have seen, there were a few false starts and a bit of a delay
in getting this thing going. I am happy to say that we have learned a great deal in the interim. I am also happy to say
that part of the delay over the last week was due to the arrival of my second grandchild, Amelia Grace Zumbado, 8 pounds
12 ounces on Thursday July, 26th. But enough of bragging about grandchildren and excuses for being so slow. I hope
that you will find this website helpul in sorting through what we need to be doing to gain the kind of union representation
we need and deserve. Please do send in any comments and questions you want to share. Just a bit of information about the site;
it is hosted by web.com, and is really quite easy to work with. Be aware that if we have the site down for construction, which
we will from time to time, you may get an error or forbidden message, instead of the under construction message. Please don't
be put off by this, simply try again a bit later. We will do our best to keep this site updated and interesting. Your participation
and help will be greatly appreciated.Don't be shy about pointing out errors in spelling and grammar. We really do want
to maintain a professional looking site. Thanks for looking in and please come back.

WELCOMEWe are finally launching this web site! Many of you may have looked in the
other day only to find a blank home page. All I can say is, I'm learning. It has taken awhile to get this thing off the
ground. But we have made it, and there's no stopping us now! This site, in addition to bringing to you information about
the aborted attempt of the TRAX group at gaining union representation, will be an open forum for all UTA workers to share
their ideas via this blog. Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with us, all contributions will be considered for publication
to this site. There will be links throughout the site through which you will be able to send your contributions.
We will encourage you to indentify yourself, but we understand that this might not be the best idea for you. Some may fear
retribution from the UTA, the ATU or others.
Our current policy is to reprint any contribution that is civil. Contributions
that repeat what others have said will most likely be noted as such without being published, or we may publish excerpts from
your contribution that highlight a unique point of view or give additional information. It will also be
difficult to publish articles that are overly long. All of these matters will be worked out through experience. Your patience
will be greatly appreciated and, I hope, well rewarded.
